Conserve Development is a Manhattan Beach, California-based company that specializes in revitalizing Southern California neighborhoods containing architecturally-significant original homes. These classic houses are increasingly being destroyed by overzealous developers who build enormous luxury homes in their place.
Conserve’s business model involves purchasing homes, tastefully updating them without damaging the original “bones,” then reselling the property. The company’s marketing efforts focus on finding owners who want to sell, but don’t wish for their home to be destroyed in the process.
Conserve’s branding, such as it was when I came onboard, consisted of a logo and nothing else. I expanded on the soft colors of the original logo and created collateral (primarily print ads and email marketing) that was gentle to the eye while still effectively delivering Conserve’s message of hope to frustrated homeowners.
