Green Plains is a historic 617-acres waterfront estate on Chesapeake Bay that dates back to 1798; once Premiere Estates Auction Company signed the contract to market and auction the property, I was put in charge of designing its marketing campaign.
Collateral I created included print & digital brochures, print & digital ads, direct mail pieces and email marketing. The burgundy accent color chosen for most of the collateral was sampled from the iconic main house’s brick exterior.
In addition, I was tasked with creating a promotional video for the property. Using raw drone footage filmed by John Hancock Productions, I used iMovie 11, Audacity and Keynote to create a haunting, lingering tour of Green Plains that respected its history and grandeur…a jarring (and intentional) change from other promotional videos for real estate, which tend to be fast-paced and upbeat.
My Green Plains promotional video was nominated for a 2015 Leaders in Luxury Award by the Institute of Luxury Home Marketing.
