Chipotle Publishing, LLC
In the summer of 2011, Chipotle Publishing decided to begin producing a series of coloring books targeted at the children of the customers who typically bought their defense magazines and gun-related books. Machine Guns of WWI, the second in this series, featured original line art by Robert Novzen depicting the most notable weapons used in World War I. Each drawing was accompanied by a brief blurb about the history and use of the weapon, including technical specifications.
Robert Novzen provided the line art for the front and back covers, but the digital colorization and cover designs were my own. I was also the layout artist for the book itself.
